4 Beauty Sense I know, I know ... You want your hair done yesterday! This morning you looked in the mirror and gasped. Your eyes found a track of roots that has been growing out since your last appointment with me and you are freaked! You want your hair done now! You don't understand why I can't squeeze you in. You remind me of what a great client you are and how long I've known you ... why am I being so difficult? What do I mean by asking you what date and time are you hoping for? Now! at is when you need it! en the threats begin: "I have been coming to you for a long time; maybe I need to find another colorist." Aer that, the texts build up, and minutes turn into more minutes. Still, you have no appointment because I am just not doing what you want! ese are true stories and real words that I've had to handle while also trying to serve a current client in the chair. Here is the truth: I do get how bad it is and I do care; aer all, this is my business. You are a great client and I absolutely appreciate the unique spirit that is you. is is why I oen soly suggest that, before you leave, you should make an appointment 4–6 weeks out. You know, the same suggestion I make aer every appointment, but you choose not to do because you are very busy. Why make it now when you can just call before you need it next time? Well ... because of this moment! Take another look in the mirror at the gray staring back at you and realize you could have had it done yesterday if only you had set up a simple appointment while you were here last month.
