A seemingly simple hair color change "back to natural" is often the furthest thing from "simple." The hair inspiration you pull from social media can be a version of filtered reality—and probably more filter than reality. Even going gray requires more than just stopping your monthly root retouches. Luckily for all of us, we don't have to be able to navigate all these complicated truths because we can turn to educated, licensed hair professionals. How important are educated professionals? Even the US House of Representatives has recognized education institutions for beauty and wellness professionals with their own day! Check out the details on page 7.
